The result of the restriction in size of bindings, manifests in bookbindings the "size" of pralines and ones with a height of over 50 centimeters.
Each bookbinding from their hands is a unique design, and consequently, a pursuit of technical perfection.
Elise Verhaegen, Expert in Cultural Heritage and Museums of the City of Diest, immediately recognized the potential of this temporary collaboration and challenged the 3 bookbinders to let their creations confront the artworks that form the permanent exhibition of "Stadsmuseum De Hofstadt Diest."
The fusion of the temporary with the permanent can be viewed from Saturday, April 13, 2024, to Sunday, May 12, 2024.
